About the event
Come learn how to dye with the flowers and plants growing in your back yard.
Haley will take you on a short plant walk to pick flowers, then teach how to dye a flour sack towel using the hammer printing method.
Each person gets to take home their piece. An introduction to natural dye techniques will also be discussed, including how to select fabrics and the plants to dye them with.
Pre-treated towel included. Please bring your own hammer or mallet and a form of ear protection if desired.
