Andrea and Matthias in-person Science & Art Herbal Apprenticeship:

COST: $1995 including a non-refundable $200 deposit due February 1, 2023 (payment options available)

INCLUDES: Rosemary Gladstar’s The Science & Art of Herbalism Correspondence Course valued at $375, materials used in class, tea tastings every month, homework review, upon completion-certificate from Healing Spirits Herb Farm & Education Center and Rosemary Gladstar

DETAILS: We will meet once a month for a hands-on herbal class, on a working Herb Farm where apprentices will learn how to blend teas, make salves, create syrups, formulate tinctures, and use plants to improve your well-being. Upon completion of the written assignments each student will receive 2 certificates, one from Healing Spirits Herb Farm & Education Center and Rosemary Gladstar

*Earth Sky Vistas in Hammondsport, NY - Come stay with us in our recently renovated 1900’s farmhouse overlooking Waneta Lake, which is a scenic half hour drive from Healing Spirits Herb Farm. We have 2 second floor bedrooms available,  one queen and one double bed, which share a hall bath. Enjoy gardens of edible, medicinal, culinary and ornamental plants.  If you’re up for a hill hike, we have trails through our 6.5 acres, some wooded, some open meadows. Depending on the time of year, the creek will either be gushing or trickling. The walks are a delight for medicinal wildcrafting and the lake views and enormous skies are food for the soul.

Depending on the time of year, my apothecary is usually a flurry of activity as well.

Our hens provide eggs, and you can opt for breakfast here. Healthy, homegrown, fresh, organic, local foods are the backbone of our food offerings.

We also have 2 dogs, an English Shepherd and a Pug, so be prepared to be jubilantly welcomed!  Outdoor cats on location too.

Rates:  $65/night per person, $75/night per person including breakfast.  Dietary requests in advance please.  Cash payment preferred at time of visit, but please reserve in advance by email.
