Annesse Brockley first called me at least 20 years ago from Spear Fish, South Dakota. She was on her journey to find a cure for herself for Lupus. Over telephone conversation we became friends, she started sharing what she learned, what worked and what didn’t work, and then all the research she was able to find, alot of the papers had not been published. She cured herself of Lupus, and started helping her friends and neighbors. Her husband pushed her to write a book, telling her there were too many people suffering like she had been, and she needed to share her knowledge. Her daughter Kristin agreed to help her. I have been so honored from the beginning in 2014 to carry her book, their are an amazing amount of people who have benefited from her book. I am so hornered to call her my friend, and my husband and I plan on making a trip to Spearfish someday to meet her in person. My journey with Annesse Brockley began more than two decades ago with a phone call from Spearfish, South Dakota. At the time, Annesse was deeply immersed in a personal quest to find a cure for her Lupus, a challenging and often debilitating autoimmune disease. What started as a simple telephone conversation quickly blossomed into a profound friendship and partnership built on shared curiosity and a passion for natural healing.
Over the years, Annesse generously shared her findings with me—the herbs,, the dietary changes, and the lifestyle adjustments that made a difference. We discussed her self-experiments, what truly worked, and, just as importantly, what didn't. Her dedication led her to an immense amount of research, uncovering papers and clinical data that, at the time, had not yet been published in the mainstream. Through perseverance and deep commitment to her own well-being, Annesse successfully cured herself of Lupus.
Having achieved this incredible victory, Annesse didn't stop there. She instinctively began to help her friends, neighbors, and people in her immediate community who were suffering from similar chronic conditions. It was her husband who ultimately provided the necessary push for her to put her knowledge into a book. He recognized that her life-changing information was too vital to remain within her small circle, arguing that countless others were suffering just as she once had and desperately needed her insights. Her daughter, Kristin, enthusiastically agreed to help Annesse write and organize the material, making the comprehensive information accessible to a wider audience.
Since 2014, I have been immensely honored to carry Annesse and Kristin’s book, Autoimmune the Cause and the Cure, here at Healing Spirits Herb Farm.
