Queen Anne's Lace

Though Queens Anne Lace and I knew each other, this summer she is talking to me like she never has before.  Still not sure where all this is going, but I am enjoying the ride.  Here are some things I am learning.

As a child I remember bringing in bouquets, putting them in a vase with food coloring, watching them change color and taking them as a special gift to my Mother.  She of course made a big fuss over them, so I picked more and more.  I am sure at the time I thought I was the only one QAL was doing this for.  The magical world of children!! I remember also enjoying the soft feeling the flowers had in my hands, they seemed so soft and delicate.  ~Andrea
