Comfrey Leaf (Dried)
Comfrey Leaf (Symphytum Officinale)
Comfrey Leaf is excellent for healing bones and connective tissues (sprains, strains, broken bones, tendons, ligaments, cartilage). It is a connective tissue tonic, combining well with mineral-rich plants like Nettles and Horsetail. It is also used for organ prolapse (topically and internally). Comfrey is slightly cooling and soothing for heat and irritation.
Comfrey Leaf's demulcent, wound-healing, and astringent properties are excellent for the gastric mucosa, helping with reflux, ulcers (gastric and intestinal), and leaky gut by toning and healing tissue.
