Poke Root (Phytolacca americana), is an old folk remedy.  Has a high toxicity, use with supervision of an herbalist.   Poke is anti-viral, but its main action is in purging the lymph system. Especially good in the neck, head and breast regions.  Poke  is toxic in large amounts and may cause nausea even in moderate amounts.
